How does a first tattoo work?

It starts with a conversation about the design, the size and the placement, and a sketch before anything is booked. The tattoo itself happens later, once you have seen the proposal and said yes.

What decides the price of a tattoo?

The price follows the size, how detailed the design is, where on the body it sits and how many sittings it needs. So it is set after the design is settled, not before.

I only have a vague idea – is that enough?

Yes. Most people arrive with a feeling, a few pictures or a theme rather than a finished image. Send what you have and a proposal is drawn from it.

How do I look after it afterwards?

You are given aftercare instructions when you leave: how to wash it, what to put on it and what to avoid while the skin heals. Follow them and get in touch if anything looks unusual.
