Who decides how much help you get?

The scope is decided by the municipality after a needs assessment, or by Försäkringskassan in the case of personal assistance. We carry out what the decision covers and can explain how an application usually works.

What does it cost?

The home care fee is set by the municipality and depends on income and the decision, not by us. Personal assistance is generally paid through the decision, so the individual pays nothing for the service itself.

Will the same people come each time?

We work towards a small, recurring group of people, because support works better when you know each other. During illness and holidays someone else may need to come instead.

Can I get in touch on behalf of a relative?

Yes, it is common for a son, daughter or neighbour to make the first contact. Get in touch and describe the situation, and we'll go through the routes available and who needs to be involved next.
