Give someone a website

Do this

1. Go to /gift, or open the menu with your name on it and pick Gift SnabbSajt.
2. Choose the plan and how many months.
3. Write a greeting, then choose whether we email the gift or give you a private link to share yourself.
4. Pay once.

What happens next: you get a receipt with the gift link in it, and if you chose email we send the card to the person straight away. Nothing renews and your card is never charged again.

What the other person does

They open the link, sign in or create an account, and press Accept the gift. They do not need a card, and they are not asked for one.

The gift applies to their whole account, covering every company and every website inside what the plan allows, and it starts the moment they accept it, not when you bought it.

If they already pay for SnabbSajt

Nothing is lost. The gift waits, at full value, until it can be used. We do not add it to their current subscription and we do not change what they already pay. Write to us and we will sort it out with them.

My gifts: looking after them yourself

Under Account → Billing and subscription you will find My gifts, a list of everything you have bought. Each one says what has actually happened: sent but not opened, the email bounced, you have not shared the link yet, or opened and running.

From there you can:

• send the gift again, correcting the address at the same time if you typed it wrong;
• get a new link to share yourself;
• cancel a gift nobody has opened;
• give more time, which buys a new gift with the same choices prefilled.

One thing worth knowing before you press anything: we never store the link itself, only an unreadable fingerprint of it. So we cannot show you the old link again. We can only make a new one, and the old one stops working straight away. That is exactly what you want if the link went astray, but it does mean you have to share the new one.

The list only appears when you are signed in with the same address you bought the gift with. If you bought one without signing in, sign in with that address and your gifts will appear.

If the email never arrives

Open My gifts, correct the address and send it again. A gift that bounced is not used up, and the full value is still there.

If you shared the private link with the wrong person, get a new link from the same place. The old one stops working immediately, and the gift itself is untouched.

If somebody has not opened their gift after two weeks, we will write to you once, so that a present you paid for does not quietly go unclaimed.

When the gift runs out

In the last 30 days we tell the person their gift is ending, and their Billing page offers Continue after the gift. If they add a payment method there, the plan carries on and the first charge happens on the day the gift ends, not before. They can undo that whenever they like.

If they do nothing, the account simply goes back to the free plan on that day. Their website stays where it is; the paid features stop.

You hear from us too, 30 and 7 days before, to say that the months you gave are nearly up. You do not have to do anything. Your card is never charged again. If you would like to give more time, you buy a new gift. We never tell you what the recipient decided to do; that is theirs.

If you buy more time while the gift is still running, the new gift waits until the current time runs out and the recipient accepts it then. It is not automatically added on top of the one already going.

Good to know

• Gifts are sold in Swedish kronor.
• The price you pay is the price shown. No VAT is added, because SnabbSajt is not registered for VAT.
• A gift never renews itself and never charges you again.
• You cannot gift the free plan, a domain, extra AI credits or a single website. A gift is always a plan, for a number of months.
